Anyone heard of Story by Ai Carina Uemura? It was basically used for the Japanese Theatrical Trailer for Big Hero 6. I don't know, I think it pretty much encompasses the premise of the whole movie. (Gives me the feels, I tell you!)

That was beautiful!
Since this is a music thread, does anyone here actually play an instrument?

I'm more of a singing-in-a-shower kind of artist. (lolwhat? <--Got this from Quincy ) The instant reverb definitely hides all the off-tune notes.

Since I'm on a BH6 phase, why not include another trailer music, this time from the International English trailer? The song is called Top of the World by Greekfire. Dichotomous in every sense of the word. The beat is uplifting but the meaning of the song can be quite melancholic. I think it would be a nice song prompt for a fic where Kaito flies away from another heist in his glider. A character study/songfic perhaps? I don't know. Just an idea of sorts...

EDIT: OMG that does sound like Kaito :3 When you say, that does sound like Kaito, are we referring to the song lyrics resonating with Kaito's personality or are we referring to the lead singer's voice, Quincy? :S

Ooh, Music Thread. I'll listen to most anything, but I've been really enjoying Janelle Monae's Archandroid stuff.

That was beautiful! Since this is a music thread, does anyone here actually play an instrument? I play piano and clarinet, and I sing a bit (mainly christmas carols.) I have learnt how to play trombone and trumpet but don't own the instruments and haven't been able to practice for a while. I often waste days learning themes from movies/games/animes on the piano or clarinet, depending on which it sounds better on. Recently I've been playing music from the Hobbit sound track on my wooden clarinet, and it sounds so awesome. I feel like a true elf XF

Oh wow, that's quite a lot That's really cool, I've alway wanted to try a brass instrument. I learned a little piano when I was younger. Now there's just a dusty piano in the corner of my house *looks over guiltily at the lonely thing* I've been playing flute for almost a decade. Recently, I was curious and bought an alto saxophone (because the fingering is similar to a flute's). I'm still trying to figure out how to play a note x'D Reed instruments are difficult.

I find reed instruments really easy but I can't even blow in a flute to get air out. Tips for reed instruments: New reeds will squeak. Even professional players occasionally squeak with a new reed. When setting up your instrument, have the reed you are going to use in your mouth. As weird as it sounds, a dry reed doesn't play as well as it can't vibrate as well. If you don't it does get better after 15 or so minutes of playing, but I find this trick helps get the best sound quickest. Learn as many of the alternate fingerings as you can. You will need them. Replace broken or chipped reeds, don't try and use them. They aren't as good and you can cut your tongue on them (speaking from experience) The Standard of Excellence books are great for learning too, and have 3 books. (Gtg say more later)
