Wow . . . I had not noticed that . . . They sound good though, and I like the video, too. Making me reconsider adding that song to my DC playlist . . .

What cuties!!! I liked the full version a lot better, and that music video was really cool! I liked how they were just goofing off and playing around. It had a really fresh, genuine feel to it.

Mikau, I have a question about things Conan is saying (don't worry: saying, not singing) in these songs (both of which I love). I've listened to these two songs many times, but there are still parts that I have no idea what they are and/or what they mean. In Yarukkyanai no Sa, what's he saying immediately before and after his laughing? In Anata wo Kanjiru, I get the gist about him being hungry and wondering why Ran isn't making food/what's wrong, but what's he saying about Shinichi, and immediately after he says "Jaa, hayaku shite ne"?

Well the first one it's hard to tell because the music is louder than the speaking part, and it's kind of making it hard to hear clearly, but it sounds like "やれやれ…ふん まちゃく." Which I'm sure you know yareyare, like "hey, hey". Fun is like Hmm. And then machaku...I've got nothing. Unless he means "またく” which would be like "Geez" and make more sense. I looked up various versions of まちゃく in a couple dictionaries, but I'm not getting anything there either. I'm kind of leaning towards the theory that Conan is speaking in some sort of dialect that I'm not familiar with since I only know standard Tokyo, Kansai-ben in general, Osaka-ben, and the cute things my neighbors did in Kyoto and Kameoka.
The ending of the second part is kind of different too. If I'm hearing it right, he says "蘭姉ちゃん、どうして事件解決しやったかな?" Which is something like "Ran-neechan, I wonder how the case was solved." Again, the ending part is kind of...different.
With the second song, it's kind of the same problem. The music is entirely too loud. I've got it blasting, but the spoken part still isn't loud enough to make out clearly. I believe at first he's asking her to make Shinichi's favorites for dinner, and then after that he says something like "Don't make that __ kind of face." I can extrapolate that it's some kind of sad face, but I can't hear the adjective. It sounds a little like つぼさ so maybe it's supposed to be ぜつぼさ/despair? Sorry I can't be more helpful. It would be easier if I could isolate the tracks and turn down the background music so that it didn't drown out what Conan's saying. At least that's kind of the gist, though.
Is there anyone that could hear it better? I'm kind of hard of hearing in one ear anyway. ^.^;

Oh, okay. Yeah, I was wondering about that for a while XD To me, after the やれやれ part, it sounds like けお (or just an extended け) まちゃく rather than ふん. But yeah, I understand why it's hard to hear. Why would he be speaking in a different dialect, though?
Yeah, and that last part was especially hard to hear . . . I hear the tsubosa part, but to me it sounds like it goes straight from sonna to tsubosa . . .
Thanks for trying your best, Mikau!

Just in case you're curious, this is probably the saddest, most realistic adult break-up song ever.

Last two days I listened "Ai no Scenario", but now I'm listening this, because my little cousin's here (she's Slovak). It's "Horehronie" by Kristina, singer from Slovakia. She has great songs, for example "Life is A Game" or "Rozchodový reggaeton", but Horehronie is the best. It's beautiful song about beautiful place in Slovakia. I love her songs. ^.^

Just in case you're curious, this is probably the saddest, most realistic adult break-up song ever. Oh my gosh, Garfunkel and Oates! I've only heard one other song from them (You, Me, and your Friend Steve), but it was really good! I wonder why I never went and looked them up... I love the realistic irony here!

Some (if not all) of you has probably heard this one, but I'm still posting this here as a friendly reminder to all of us that Edogawa Conan can sing in tune if he really, really, REALLY, REALLY put his head (or summon all his strength) on it... *cues Conan saying "I CAN SING! DEAL WITH IT!" , hehe* (This is by far my most favorite DC character song, followed closely by Ayumi's Yasashii Ame) Now, to imagine Shinichi singing the same song... ... ... ... Nah, it just doesn't work, does it? LOL

And for today something in English... "Life is A Game" is a song from a Slovakia singer Kristina. It's the official song for Ice Hockey Championship 2011. I don't like Ice Hockey, but this song is amazing. It gives me a New Hope for the upcoming days. "We found love" is a song originally by Rihanna, but Lindsey's version is absolutely amazing. I love her covers and this one is one of the best, probably the best.

Okay, this is late, but in response to Quincy's post of Conan's character song, Takayama Minami-sensei is really amazing. I mean, she's an absolute genius. She has such a great voice, and her ability to pretend to sing badly astounds me. Like, this is so wonderfully impressive.
