Ikr? I was guessing who everyone was as they sang and the moment those two showed up I went: Yep that's definitely the innkeepers. (Oo yay we have Les Mis fans here ) Ah my idea isn't exactly an AU. As usually, it's Kid related. With Kaito as the president of the drama club and they are performing Les Miserables. ('Do You Hear the People Sing' was nice too!)

T^T That was beautiful. I loved the flash mob!!! I love people's reactions to flash mobs. When Eponine started singing, the lady next to her was like, "Uh...What?" I loved, loved that. Thanks for sharing, Natsumi!

LES MIS! Oh gosh that flash mob one is AMAAAZING! So is the other one. That dude, though, in the flash mob one, in 1:51 when he just stood there singing, then went to the register to pay his meal, LOL And then these two...

Of course Javert would pay for his meal before going off to sing some more x3 Oo that's a nice find, Quincy. He's so talented
'Look Down' will always be one of my favorite ones though.

There are so many good songs in Les Mis . . . Might as well do the whole soundtrack then, ne? This is for the 2012 movie:

Does anybody have a favorite version of Les Mis? Because I personally ADORE the 25th Anniversary cast.
And yes, that includes Nick Jonas.

I think I like 2010 cast recording the most in terms of singing.

.... I haven't actually seen Les Mis but have really wanted to. I am assuming there is more than one version...? What one/s would everyone recommend watching?

Mmm, in English, if you want to really experience the movie with the acting and stuff, you should watch the 2012 movie first and then watch the professional cast recordings, since they have better voices but no acting. The two best ones according to some people have been the 10th anniversary and (my personal favorite) the 2010 concert/25th anniversary casts.

Okay, so I realize that there are a bunch of references in this song Still Alive to the game Portal because, well, it's the song for the credits. Anyway, long story short, basically the game is about trying to solve 3D puzzles with blocks that reflect and block deadly beams and all that. Eventually you have to destroy the robot making the puzzles in order to live (I think. I really know more about Portal 2 than Portal). Cake is mentioned: that was the reward for finishing the (eternal amount of) puzzles. Black Mesa is another game that's made by the same company. It's also connected to Half Life (and maybe Half Life 2?) (which is also the same company) in some way, shape, or form. I don't really know for sure how it's connected to Half Life, but I think one of them is a remake of the other.
This song is from the point of view of the evil robot:

Lol XD
*sings ~This was a triumph. I'm making a note here: huge success. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction. Aperture Science: We do what we must, because, we can For the good of all of us Except for those who are dead. But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying til you run out of cake. And the science gets done And you make a neat gun For the people who are still alive. *skips in song* And believe me, I am, still alive. I'm doing science and I'm, still alive. I'm doing science and I'm, still alive. And when you're dying I'll be, still alive. And when you're dead I will be, still alive. Still alive, Still alive~
