This looks really great so far! I really can't wait to see the end product! You already shade better than me XD the colors look really cool, and I really love the background. Keep it up! *in a high-pitched disagreeing voice* nuuuu I do not shade better than you. I just have a lot of free time? I cheated, and it took me more than a day for each color... I have shaky hands and digital art disagrees with me more than traditional art. I prefer using digital only for coloring. It's fun but sooooo time consuming, which I find around 10x more of a hassle so here's a round of applause to all you guys who digital art without wiggly lines *claps claps claps* Thank you, though. I'll do my best, wiggly lines or no wiggly lines (how you guys keep your hands so steady is beyond me... srsly)

To change hardness you mean? In my computer it's neither xD it's the vowel button, the one with the arrow going up since it's the only way to reach ¿ or ? sine it's the same button for ' ¡ . But yeah it's usually or that one or alt or ctrl or some combined to access any shortcut. 'X' I use a lot to change between the two selected colors, specially if you like to work with masks since you basically work with black and white all the time.
Check your Keyboard Shortcuts window. If we have a similar version it should be on: Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts Select 'Tools' from 'Shortcuts For' Scroll down until you see Increase/Decrease Brush Size. You can change them to your own liking, just be careful not to change a setting you already use like ctrl+c for instance. If you don't use many then anything will do.

... Oh. This sounds really stupid... and embarrassing... but I didn't know you can change keyboard shortcuts. At all. So, is this like a feature for every available app there is or is it exclusive for Photoshop... or like is it a keyboard shortcut thing for the entire computer? This. This is new to me, to be honest. I feel so stupid O.o I'll go check it out, though. Thanks.

Nah, don't worry, there's always something new to learn, specially with computers.
If you change it in photoshop it will work for photoshop exclusively, it's like changing languages: you aren't changing the language of the computer but the language of Photoshop if you change it from photoshop BUT you could also change the language of the computer if you do it from my PC or wherever that option is. I guess you could make changes on the shortcuts to the computer itself or tablet if needed but I wouldn't touch it since it is as it is to give the best confort towards the user.
Each program has it's own shortcuts and tools for each thing. I'm guessing all adobe programs act exactly like in photoshop since they are built to look similar so they should look alike and make it easily accessible but with other programs it may depend on the creators. It may be possible that in some programs you can't change the shortcuts or there aren't any since the main ones (ctrl+c ...) are already shortcuts for the computer and they thought it wasn't needed or something.
Conclusion: just check on google where the shortcuts are for each program in question xD or if it exists if you can't find it. Better yet just search for any question you have because there's always someone that asked for it before and has already gotten the answers haha

As a quick tip, if you don't have a tablet, then holding the shift key when you click helps make straight lines!

Omigosh it works! Cool! Thanks dude! Aaaand *drumrolls* after a long long time, I've finally finished it!~ Not the best there is but not crappy either. Not bad for my first time tinkering with brushes. I'm just worried some of the mugs ruin the gothic feel but maybe it's just me... I decided the moon is not a light source, nor are the stars. Rather, it's just a super cool backdrop provided by photoshoot people hired by MTAG(c)Helen Griffin. Some shadows are most probably out of place but not sure if anyone will notice xD And there's my favorite part right there *points at Kaito's mug*. Thank you wonderful people who do wonderful brushes... and Google images for the tablecloth xD That was... something, though. There's a happy kinda sad feeling inside me right now. I dedicate this whole project to Mikauzoran , without whom this won't even be conceived in the first place *cyber fist bump* Also dedicated to the entire Poirot Cafe Community. Stay awesome, awesome people! >o<\m/ Disclaimer: I do not own Mad Hatter Kaito. I wish I do, though (ROFLROFL )
