I'd hazard un-beta'd, since the goal is to have it written down, though perhaps not necessarily ready for posting. The idea's more to get your thought onto paper (digital or physical) above all else, right?

Yeah. I do all of my own editing process by myself too, but basically what Tal said.
This isn't going to be strict or very structured in the least. You are to determine your goal for this event, and you are to be your own judge when it comes to determining whether or not you've succeeded. You don't even have to post what you get written at the end. You could just end up with a rough draft that you hammer out and polish up at a later date however you do that whether you use a beta or not. So long as at the end of November you can honestly tell us, "Hey, guys! I made some progress!" I am a happy camper and this event was worth doing. You just do whatever you need to do, however you need to do it to get it done.

oh and i forgot to mention, will be a great idea to have no contest in Nov...otherwise (For me at least) be distracted again by the prompts >.<
