www.fictionpress.com/s/3223461/1/WordsAlright, it's been a long time since I lst updated the series above me... But recently I wrote multiple drabbles I dubbed 'The Word Project' via asking my teachers and peers for a random English word. Here's one that I felt pretty pleased of. I might end up continuing it, making it a series of drabbles to clarify what's happening. I don't quite have a clear view on it yet myself, but this is meant to be what happened in the end, so... I also edited the drabble a bit so it makes a little more sense from the original. ~-~-~-~-~ Apple"They say that a bitten apple symbolises the loss of innocence," said the man to his companion, handing one of the red fruits over to her. "It is strange, how people project such images as metaphors," the woman commented, inspecting it. "Perhaps so," said the man. "But is it not a beautiful thing, to use such symbols in art?" "Sometimes, my good sir, I haven't a clue what you speak of." The woman smiled fondly, and shook her head. "If I eat this apple, will I have sinned?" "Sin it is not, but your hands are stained already, my lady," the man muttered, his words turning somber. The woman's smile seemed to shift into a sad one, faced with the reality of what she's done, a teardrop falling into the pool of her friend's blood as she took a bite.

I think it's interesting as a start, but yeah, it would really benefit from a series of drabbles elaborating on what happened ^^
