I was feeling productive today and decided to do some organizing. I ended up piling up all my DCMK merchandise and was surprised by the amount xD (Majority of it were gifts from friends) So I was wondering what you lovely darlings have to share, I'd love to see! ^^
My DCMK treasury: -DC volumes 40 and 49 in English and 72, 73, 74 in Chinese. (Trying to improve my understanding of Chinese) -DC movies 1-17 in Chinese dub (I'm pretty sure most are pirated though) -MK special episodes 1-12 box set -Lupin the Third vs. Detective Conan the Movie -Random DC DVD episodes -Movie 12 Full Score of Fear Poster -Detective Conan Movie Pins collection (movies 1-16) -Movie 16 keychain -Lost Ship in the Sky ring necklace -Kaitou Kid card gun that shoots out miniature cards -Kaitou Kid monocle -Two Kaitou Kid customized iPhone cases

Aw, you have a Kaitou Kid card gun?! Lucky . . .
Let's see . . . I have: -six keychain/phone attachment things with Conan in different poses -issues 21 (DC chapter 894) and 44 (MK 1st part of Corbeau arc) of Shounen Sunday -Best of Detective Conan (Movie Themes Collection) soundtrack -Movie 14 Lost Ship in the Sky in Japanese -DC (CC) volume 8 in English -DC volumes 13, 16, 61, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 83 and 84 in Japanese -MK volume 4 in Japanese
Most of these were thing I bought over time except for the soundtrack, which was a birthday gift.

Geez, what all do I have?
-DC volumes 1-60 in Japanese -DC volume 16 in Chinese (I brought it back as a souvenir when I was studying in China. My fellow Kid aficionados will understand why I picked that volume in particular.) -MK Treasured edition box sets (all four) -7 of the Conan novels (in Japanese) -the 10+, 30+, and 40+ Conan manga (I don't know why I'm missing 20+. I think it may have fallen out of the box I literally SHIPPED from Japan back to the US.) -the Osaka and Kyoto Conan phone straps -Lost Ship in the Sky animanga (I think that's what it's called when they take frames from the movie and paste it into manga format, yeah? Both volumes of that in Japanese) -both of the Shounen Sunday special compilations of the vs. Kid manga chapters (again, Japanese) -Aoyama Gosho's short stories collection manga (Japanese. I almost bought the DVD. It was 1,000 yen at Book Off, but I didn't have the cash on me.) -the first 80 anime episodes released by Funimation back in the day when I was, like, fourteen/fifteen -The Time Bombed Skyscraper (Funimation release in Japanese and English) -The Fourteenth Target (Funimation release in Japanese and English)
I think that's it, but I'm planning on getting the last twenty-odd volumes of manga in Japanese once I read through the sixty I already have. I've read a great deal of the manga scans in English before (up to around chapter 600 or so, I think), but I've lost my place and have since decided to start over in Japanese.
Anyway...wow. I have a lot more than I thought. Geez. I got a great deal on all of it (except the Funimation stuff) because I bought it all in Japan at a used book store chain called Book Off. Except the MK Treasured Editions. Those were just coming out while I was over there, so I bit the bullet and bought them new. The manga was a steal, though. I bought bulk and paid one hundred dollars for volumes 1-60. ^.^ Okay, enough chit-chat from me.

*Points at own nose* Me, Natsumi-chan? *Shrugs* When you go to Japan you'll see that there's this marvelous used book (and game and movie and CD) store called Book Off. I got all of my stuff there (well, the 1-60 volumes of DC are from Amazon, but...) for one or two hundred yen apiece. I think the animanga were, like, five hundred, but that's still less than ten bucks. I got it all while I was studying abroad and working in Japan.
I use the various manga a lot for references. The vs. Kid manga compilations are especially useful. I really prefer to have the original as a source so that I can see how the various characters address one another and what accents or particular speech quirks a character has. I guess I could read it online, but...I don't know where to find the raws (though, I admit I've never looked very hard), and I really do prefer a book to the screen, anyway. But I'm babbling again.

I have a Heiji hat (I got one for me, and one for my friend - since we want to start a Gosho Boys askblog. She'd be the Heiji.) Shinichi figure I got at NYCC Two HeiShin doujinshis - one of them is terrible, terrible yaoi trash, while the other is p decent. Too bad they're both in Japanese. 1-20, 47, 50-52 of the English manga - I have to more volumes in the mail though And then just scattered DVDs
I have two sailor fukus that look like the ones from Ekoda High School and Kaihou Academy for cosplay purposes, but I don't think that counts. One of them is way too small, but now I can't sell it until after I use it as a reference to repair something on the one that fits.
Mikauzoran - There's also a BookOff in NYC. I've only been there twice though, since it's way out of my stomping grounds. I wanna go again though because sometimes they sell ZARD cds and I'm also looking for WANDS stuff.

Yeah, I saw that they had a New York location when I was on their website one time. That's way out of the way for me, though. I wonder if they ship goods. I plan on getting volumes 61-84 of DC for Christmas, so I'll have to do some investigating when it comes to prices, but that's one place to consider. My favorite is Kinokuniya, though.

Poor Kaggami! *Pats on head* That's so sad. How did you find out about DCMK in the first place? Did it air on TV, or did you just find it online?

Hehe, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I have very little merchandise for fandom stuff. So DC is by far not the only one for me.

I mostly just have manga and novels. I got a whole bunch cheap at Book Off and recycle shops when I was last in Japan. I really kind of want actual merchandise, though, like action figures and more phone straps and a replica card gun and posters and stuff.
