I wasn't really sure where to post this. So if its wrong I can move it?
Anyways, I'm quite fond of interactive written-stories games, like 'Choice of Games' and in the past I've drabble with the program 'ChoiceScript' which is a code-program that are used for creating these multiple choice games . I've been quite obsessed with the idea lately of creating a short interactive murder mystery with the DC characters where you play as Conan looking around a crime-scene for clues, as a summer project.
My question is, are there any legal ramification for this? I know you are allowed to do a lot within a community, such as making quizzes, fanfiction and drawings. As long as I put on a disclaimer I wont get in any troubles? I'm really not sure about the rules, some authors don't want you writing fanfiction afterall.
Also, would anyone be interested in working with me on this project? Even if its only as a beta or testing the promo for possible bugs? It would be a time commitment I'm afraid with a lot of repetition, depending on how much you'd be willing to work on it, but any help would be more then welcome if anyone is interested. It might not even come to anything, depending on whether I'll be able to even write a proper crime scene. Haha.
Last, would anyone actually be interested in playing such a game? It would be a lot of time consuming on my side and I can't bother if it's a really ridiculous idea. Just thought it would be a fun challenge!
