So.
Ahem.
My name is DoubleXXCross (sometimes without the Xs, sometimes with one X, depending on mood) and I've been a Detective Conan fan for possibly seven years now. I've been reading the Poirot Café fic over the last few months and finally decided to at least show my face in a more official context.
Anything you've done in the DCMK fandom?
Mine is the Hakuba-centric postcard sent "from the UK" that lies close to the centre of the photograph of "Get Well Soon" cards sent by German website Conan News to Aoyama, which I suppose is the most significant thing I've done in the fandom.
A long time ago, on FFDN, I also wrote the majority of a very weird, somewhat popular, and now abandoned crossover fic between DCMK and Sonic the Hedgehog by the name of "In the Wrong Hands" which I've been planning on-and-off to redo in its entirety. The most recent fanfiction I've written is either stored privately on Google Docs or posted up on Archive Of Our Own. My most current DCMK effort, on AO3, is called "Welcome to the Show" and has taken occasional inspiration from the competitions run here.
A little less ago I also ran the "needsmoarwhatever" blog (and related blogs) on tumblr, which hosts a large amount of fanart from this current wave of Conan enthusiasm. However I desperately needed to just. Get. Out. Of tumblr, so it's been abandoned for a while. The "art tag" should take you through my art on there while searching "detective conan" should contain the majority of my DCMK-related thoughts. (This includes such nonsense such as Pandora being under Akai's hat, alternative movie titles and the Hedge-Spinach scenarios list, in addition to imagery of Kaito crying, Conan having several identity crises and Haibara as a magical girl.)
I also wrote an UTAU song. It's called "The Sneaky Life of Kaitou KID" and can be found here.
What do you do/have you done in other fandoms?
I'm part of a video game website called Last Minute Continue and have provided LPs of Ace Attorney and Ace Attorney: Justice For All, as well as weekly commentary on the Sonic Boom television cartoon. The website used to be Sonic-related and still features a lot of Sonic-related content.
I occasionally do UTAU covers, which can be found on my Youtube.
I'm also a writer of recursive fic, which gets interesting (and surprisingly depressing) when it's in the Kingdom Hearts fandom, which itself can be summarised as Disney fanfiction.
