The smilies should work now in Quick Reply. The issues was a conflicting plugin. I removed a test hashtag plugin after reading through the plugin's support thread. I was going to test this hashtag plugin for more advanced searching features, but it didn't seem that practical and since it's causing issues, I'm going to permanently disable it unless a new version comes out that works properly. Now you can continue enjoying smilies!!

Okay, guess neechan is fine then It's just my first time being called that, much less by someone that's not my family, so . . . Though if you're doing neechan, then Natsumi-neechan would make more sense. I did my username in the Japanese way, so last name first, given name last. At least to me, if you're calling someone neechan, it makes more sense to use their first name rather than their last name.

Are there any in particular you're wondering about? The first ones that come to mind for me are these (Mikau, feel free to correct me):
san: Mr/Ms/Mrs, but is also be used with anyone older than you or higher in rank than you kun: mainly used for boys younger than you or the same age as you, but sometimes (rarely) can be used for girls (think of Megure-keibu calling Satou by Satou-kun) chan: mainly used for girls younger than or the same ago as you, but sometimes can be used for young boys (or for teasing boys). Has a cute connotation sama: Lord, but mainly for someone much higher in rank than you are (o)neesan/chan: usually used with sisters, but can also be used with girls older than you. It usually has a cuter connotation, especially when used by little kids (Conan uses this one a lot). The optional "o" at the beginning would make it more formal, and replacing the "san" at the end with "chan" makes it cuter. (o)niisan/chan: same as (o)neesan/chan, but with brothers and boys older than you. obasan: Aunt, but also used with people that are older than neechan would have. Like with people in their 40s (Yukiko prefers to think of herself as younger I guess, and that's way she insists (with a scary face) on neechan rather than obasan) ojisan: same as obasan, but with Uncle and men. sensei: Teacher, but can also be used with authors, doctors, etc. hakase: Professor sousakan: Agent (like the FBI) keibu: Police inspector keiji: Police officer
Did that help at all?
