Assasin8, in the first part, you don't need the で. で is the particle used to indicate place (like 図書館で本を読む) or "with a tool" (like はしで食べる), so in this case you just need 午前五時に起きる.
I'm sorry. I didn't ask if you wanted me to correct you. :/ Well, I assume we're all here to learn and practice, so I'll continue, and you can just ignore me, if you didn't want the free Japanese lesson. ^.^;
The part where you say "早いに寝るができない" you can either change to 早く寝ることができない or 早く寝られない. See in the Questions About Japanese section where I talk about the potential form for the second option. If you want to go with the first one, you need the こと part after a verb if you want to use the subject particle が to make it the subject of your sentence. The こと part makes the verb a...man it's been a while. I believe it's a gerund, when you make a verb into a noun. (Like in the English example, I like swimming. Swimming is a gerund, a verb that's been made into a noun.)
As for the 早い becoming 早く, 早い is an adjective. As such, it can describe nouns/pronouns. Here, you're wanting to describe 寝る, a verb, so you need the adverb form 早く which can be used with verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs. Hopefully that was helpful.

"選択できない" それとも、夏美ちゃんの場合に、"選択できません" (because you typically use long ます form in your posts. If you start with long form, stick with long form, and try not to mix the two. Notice how I use short form exclusively because I'm older than pretty much everyone here and have a degree in Japanese, affording me sempai status. Usually you do a pretty good job of this, but it's something to be mindful of. As for determining if you should use short or long form, you look at age and status of your speaking partner. In our case, the American part of me thinks "Natsumi-chan is my friend! We're close enough to use short form!" but then the Japanese part of me says, "I'm six years older. There are rules and social norms about this." Then another part of me thinks, "Kara, you're weird, and you're taking this too seriously. Society and world order are not going to collapse if a kouhai uses short form with you." I'm speaking in way too much English today, but I feel like it would be difficult to understand my explanations in Japanese. :/ Anyway, just pick one and stick with it is the bottom line, I guess).
とにかく、日本語で "Sentence" は‟文”か‟文章”だ。
一般に、私もほぼ皆のことが好き。でもその中に一番好きのは快斗と白馬のことだ。

フ〜ム。(Since I don't know how to say this in Japanese: Well, I want to use short form because that's what's used most often in Japan, but I just recently started learning it (all the rules for what to verb to use て or って @_@) and I haven't looked at in a little while since I've been busy (aka procrastinating) so I'm more experienced in long form. Guess I'll have to stick with that ) あ、そうか。ありがとう!(I'm assuming ありがとう vs ありがとうございます/ました doesn't tie into this? Or does it? Idk anymore @_@) 私の一番好きがわかりません。

Uh...actually, I'd say long form is used more often on a day to day basis unless you're only talking to really close Japanese friends. People would think you were a rude foreigner that didn't know any better if you just used short form. Unless you're talking about how short form is used to construct other parts of speech/phrases like the set form for "having had the experience of doing something". Example: "I've seen that movie." = "その映画を見たことがあります." Both are important to know, and you have to decide in each situation whether to use long form, short form, or keigo and humble speech with every person you meet. Sometimes you have to pick your speech patterns depending upon who can hear you too. -.-; It's complicated.
And, yes, sadly ありがとう is included in that. If you're using long form, stick the ございます on the end. And now that I've said absolutely nothing in Japanese... :/

(I mean, seriously. If you had to sit through a class teaching stuff you'd learned years ago, you'd be bored out of your mind and wouldn't enjoy the class either. I should have just tested out of 100 level Japanese and started with the second or third year stuff.)

こんばんは!(ここは夜です)
私はキムです。ごろ五か月は日本語を習いました。でも、日本語は難しいです。もと勉強します。
じゃ。。。眠いです。ニュージーランドは午前二十時です。そう。。。おやすみなさい!
(As a side note - before my brain explodes from trying to figure out how to say this in Japanese - I'm super rusty with actually making conversation in Japanese. I'm trying to get back into it, so hopefully you can help with that. I mean, I never got enough practice anyway since I have been teaching myself. So, yeah, please give any pointers, cause I'm likely to make errors everywhere, haha.)
