Okay, so I didn't put this one up on the picture prompt thread, but this picture has been bothering me ever since I realized what was happening in it:
So, here's the small story I made out of it:
Summary: “As I thought, you really are Kudou Shinichi, aren’t you?” Neither Eisuke nor Conan would have suspected that a member of the Black Organization was passing by right at that second.
“Though I couldn’t think how you could have gotten smaller, as I thought, you really are Kudou Shinichi, aren’t you?”
The man in a brown suit with a black briefcase, shirt, and hat blinked. He looked behind himself at the source of those words. A girlish teenage guy was bent down, talking to a little kid that looked unnervingly like the high school detective Kudou Shinichi, but with glasses. Quickly, the man hid in a nearby alley.
If he remembered correctly, Kudou Shinichi disappeared one day due to the Organization’s involvement. He didn’t know much about it, as he mainly worked to find Pandora and stop Kaitou Kid, but he did know that the high school detective had been killed. So then, what was this about?
“As you thought?” the kid replied with a small laugh in his tone. “You talk like you already knew.” He admitted he was Kudou Shinichi. This was interesting. Anokata would definitely want to know about this.
“Yeah, I’d guessed it,” the teen replied. Then he started going on about something about falling down on purpose and a girl named Ran. The conversation drifted away from the topic, and the man lost interest. He quickly walked down the street to his destination. When he got to a safe place, he typed in the numbers of the email address of Anokata. Karasu, naze naku no? the phone sang.
As he informed the boss of his discovery, he wondered if by any chance he might get promoted for this valuable information. He shook his head; the Organization didn’t work that way. If he were to get promoted, he’d have to do outstandingly well on a Kid heist. Perhaps even be the one to stop the white-clad pest for good. Or be the one to find Pandora in the first place.
But perhaps telling the Boss about this would be one step in that direction. All he knew, was that that kid had it coming for him, and no matter how good of detective he was, he wouldn’t be able to stop it.
