I see what you're saying. That's a good point. I'd be willing to give it a read. Personally, I might enjoy it more than Tooru/Sera. I'm sort of a Tooru=Middle Child theory supporter, though my confidence wanes the more I think about it, so the Tooru/Sera thing only shakes me. If/When it turns out to be wrong, I'll probably think differently. But right now, I'm not in there.
Good question. When I was first signing up, I was thinking I shouldn't go with Durbe the Barian. In other fanfiction archives, people ask questions about it, so I decided to avoid those here. I remembered something related to laurels, so I chose to look them up. That was when I saw an image of a laurel wreath being used as a crown for a knight. I have an OC who's a knight, so I've gotten a little 'obsessed.' ^_^' Thus, LaurelWreath became my catchy - and rather enjoyable - username here.

That's an interesting theory. I think we here (or at least Natsumi and I) are of the opinion that Shuukichi (shogi guy, Yumi's ex) is the middle bro. Now that I'm thinking back, has Sera met Amuro in the anime? I don't remember. If Amuro were the middle brother, that would make his rivalry with Akai more interesting, give it new dimensions. It would suck for Sera, though, having both of her brothers in/formerly infiltrating the Organization.
Anyway, I think "laurel" is cute.

Thanks. I like the theory, the only problem I keep thinking about is, "If it's true, why did Akai only SUSPECT he was Rei Furuya when they were in the Organization? Or was Akai simply saying that?) That is, like, the ONLY piece that doesn't fit in my puzzle. If the theory's true, Aoyama-sensei is going to have to do a lot of explaining to make it fit. True, it would hurt Sera a little bit, but something tells me she's had just a bit worse. Nah. They haven't formally met yet. Usually, he's seen her, though they've both shown interest in meeting each other. (Chatting With Sis - A story I wrote to explain his side a bit with that theory.) Thanks. I like it a lot myself.

I'm only current on the anime because I lost my place in the manga. I got volumes 1-60 in Japanese and started rereading, and I'm going to be starting volume seven today, so I don't know what you're talking about, but I'll get back to you on that in a few months when I finish rereading. ^.~

Yeah, everything fits if it's Shuukichi ^-^ Anyway, yeah, I think Aoyama-sensei would need to explain a lot and it'd probably be very complicated. Unless Amuro has been pretending to be someone else, even from his family . . . ? Also, Laurel, other than in the spoiler section, try keeping manga-only things to a minimum.

I know. Behold one of my problems in my theory section. {Spoiler: Click to view/hide} It would be. Veeeeeeeeery complicated. (That would be beyond tricky. I figured he was kind of raised by Elena or something, though even that would be weird.) I'll try. Thanks.

You can use spoiler tags in posts outside spoiler section if need be. Otherwise please keep it to a mininum. {Spoiler: Click to view/hide} Yeah, the evidence is pretty against Amuro being their brother. I can't think it's him, sorry. ^_^;

{Spoiler: Click to view/hide} Well, speculation about how Amuro is connected to Elena is definitely a good mystery topic.

I know. I know. {Spoiler: Click to view/hide} That's one of the reasons I'm thinking Tooru is related to Scotch. Or, at the very least, he's the non-smiling kid that Sera talked about.

{Spoiler: Click to view/hide} When did Sera talk about a non-smiling kid?

{Read at your own risk} In the chapters shortly after his debut, Sera went with Sonoko and Ran to the Poirot, but Tooru had a day off. Sonoko pointed out that her cheerfulness knew no bounds, so Sera responded with, "Well, I knew this someone when I was little who didn't smile a lot. So, thinking I'd do whatever it took to make him smile, I-" She stopped speaking there because she saw Scar Akai and chased after him.

{Spoiler: Click to view/hide} Oh, I see. I'm not going against your theory, but I wonder if there are any other candidates for the non-smiling kid . . .

Oh, now I remember. I dunno why but... {Spoiler: Click to view/hide} the moment I heard her say that I automatically thought, "Are you talking about Akai?"

{Spoiler: Click to view/hide} I don't mean to sound rude, but if she was, wouldn't she have mentioned it? She talks about her brother pretty openly, though she doesn't actually use his real name. (Besides that, the timing was hilarious.) I don't know if there's any other candidate for the kid. I've never actually thought about it. We've been talking about a lot of 'spoilery' stuff, haven't we? Look at that list.
