There are plenty of grammar and writing resources at your fingertips just by searching Google. Sometimes it might be hard to find the answer to your question. Although we encourage you to ask, if you'd rather try to figure it out yourselves, here are some helpful resources for English grammar.

Even when I have a question regarding some minor grammar point, usually the first hit I find it is from the Grammar Girl on quickanddirtytips.com. She also has a book you can buy:
Grammar Girl’s Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Writing is a fun and accessible book packed with grammar tips and geared toward writers. It’s a grammar book, but it doesn’t read like a textbook. Author Mignon Fogarty has a B.A. in English, an M.S. in Biology, and has worked as a magazine and technical writer.
