Because you can never have too many Kid heist notes! Thanks to the upcoming event in the RP for poking me with this. XD This one is a riddle I'm actually using in my story, but I'm going to put it up here to see what you guys think of it. Actually, I have a certain underlying theme I use for most of them, for whatever reason... Beneath the queen of the tenth of the pearl of the twelve of those I will not take, precisely as just seconds past and future dictates, I shall snatch away the Swan of Seven. ~ Kaitou Kid
Swan of Seven is the gem, obviously, and it was a name I randomly came up with. Can you come up with the time and date? The time goes into the seconds, actually. XD Think numbers!
I've got another that I'd like to put up, but who knows if I can find it... //digs through papers//
If any of you have riddles you'd like to share, please do!

The very first part confuses me with all the "of"s. Does it have something to do with June 12th? Or maybe it's October 12th . . . I don't have time to try and figure out the rest of it . . .

I have a riddle but it may be confusing to post multiple ones at once, don't you think?

This took me a little while to make By the midnight sun of the feast of weeks I will steal from the madame of the geld minister The rajah of jewels first claimed by the Duchess of Aquitaine Which shall resurface at the celebration of the Prince of Shiningstone
- Kaitou KIDThis note is time restricted. I'll probably post the answer or something once it is no longer relevant.

Today I was bored at school's lessons so I wrote one-shot story with this note: As the Ruler of the Fall will going down on the new King's knees, I will be returning to steal a glance at his freezing crown. ~Kaitou Kid

Yeah, or maybe... the idea is that in the Beika Museum's something with a name "the Crown of Winter". It inclued three jewels in it. So his targets are jewels only, not the Crown, but still, he must steal it in one piece.

"Midnight sun" makes me think of Alaska, and the first thing that came to mind for "feast of weeks" was Passover . . . the Golden week . . . then something about the celebration of the prince of Shiningstone. I looked up the Duchess of Aquitaine, but I couldn't find anything on the Prince of Shiningstone, or anything that might relate to it.

The prince of Shiningstone is sending me all over the place. From weird shipping companies to japanese royalty - I don't even know where to look. The jewel on the other hand was pretty easy (assuming that it is the one that I think it is). Feast of weeks I'd say either Golden Week or Shavuot, so either May or June? I guess the 'Midnight Sun' would specify the date further, but it doesn't really add up. Nurgh :/ And the 'geld minister' is just a fancy way of saying finance minister? If so, that leads one straight back to the royalty.

As promised, I have stolen the Briolette of India.- Kaitou KID{Spoiler}{Spoiler: Click to view/hide} The 'feast of weeks' is the Jewish festival of 'Shavuot', known as the 'Pentecost' in Ancient Greek. It is also called by the name 'Whitsunday', especially in the UK. It can refer to the entire seven week after Easter Sunday, but the last day always falls on 'White Sunday'. The 'midnight sun' in the note refers to midnight on the Sunday of the Pentecost. For confirmation, the sun of the night is the moon; which is white. White sun, 'Whitsun'.
The 'madame' in the second line is very straightforward; wife. We will come back to the 'minister' later.
The 'rajah of jewels'. Rajah is literally an Indian king, the king of jewels is the diamond. With the descriptions of 'Indian', 'diamond' and 'Duchess of Aquitaine' and the current whereabouts of each jewel we can identify the target as The Briolette of India. It is a legendary diamond of 90.38 carats first acquired by Eleanor of Aquitaine, queen consort of Louis VII of France 1137 and 1152. It is the oldest diamond on record. In 1971 is was sold to an unknown European family.
I would like to congratulate rainbowcupcake on getting the 'geld minister' right. In English 'geld' means to castrate, but in German it means money. The task force weren't sure whether the castrate part of a joke or was Kid actually serious. They narrowed their search for a German speaking finance minister who may be religious.
When I said that 'the note is time restricted' and will soon be 'no longer relevant', that was in itself half a clue. Diamond last forever, and languages don't change their meaning overnight. I could easily leave the note posted for an indefinite amount of time until someone solves it. But no, it refers to a very specific time that once it has passed, it's gone. The only logical answer is the date. The date of Whitsunday changes every year because of Easter. Therefore there must be something special about the 24 of May, 2015 that has something to do with a prince. It just so happens, that Whitsunday this year falls on the 20th birthday of Prince Joseph Wenzel of Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein, in German, translates to Lightstone. Realistically, a stone made from light would be a shining stone

Concerning Icys riddle... Well, I got a few things right Got the right jewel and seems like Shavuot was right too. Haven't heard of Whitsunday though. I wasn't sure about the geld minister, but I thought it would be the wife of some finance minister - but I actually didn't think about narrowing the search down to German speaking ones. I was also right about royalty - except that I was looking at all the wrong royal families Oh well. All in all I think it was/is a good riddle, but I do have one critique point Liechtenstein doesn't exactly translate to Lightstone. Lichtstein would. I know, a direct translation would probably be too easy and there are a lot of ways to go from Liechtenstein to light stone, and even more ways for it not to work out .. so yeah, I see how you got there, but technically, Liechtenstein does not translate to Lightstone. The "stein" -> "stone" part is allright, it's more about the "Liechten", which has multiple possible origins and meanings, and, in this situation specifically, it's not really clear which one's the right one. It could be bright, light (as in weight), easy, clear...etc. a lot. The english Wiki simply says "light" as in "light bulb" but it's not really that clear. Just my 2 cents on that matter.

Found this on a website, not a heist note but fun nonetheless A Japanese ship was making its way through the Arabian Sea. The captain felt like taking a bath and thus went to the bathroom after removing his Rolex watch and gold bracelet. When he returned back from the bathroom, he found out that his valuables were missing. He suspected five of his crew members. He called them in and asked all of them what they were doing for the last 15 minutes. They replied as follows: The French cook (with a butcher knife): I was in fridge room getting meat for cooking. The German Engineer (with some tools in hand): I was working on the generator engine. The Bangladeshi seaman (empty handed): I was on the mast correcting the flag which was upside down by mistake. The American Radio officer (with his headphones in hand): I was messaging to company that we will reach the port in the next two days that is Friday morning at 1100 hrs. The Indian navigation officer (empty handed): I was taking a nap before my night watch began. Upon hearing all of them, the captain found out who was the thief. How did he know that? Who is the thief? {Spoiler: Click to view/hide} Solution:
The Bangladeshi seaman is the thief. This is because the Japanese flag cannot be identified as upside down as it is the same both ways. Thus he is just trying to escape the situation.

*glances suspiciously at navigation officer because of puns and sleepwalking* *suspicious glance travels to seaman and engineer who could've used the things to fix whatever they were working on* *suspicious glance then travels to radio officer cuz of time specification* *thinks* It's gonna be the cook, isn't it?

I am reviving this thread because why not? It took me a while and I'm not sure how accurate this heist notice is but I tried my best. In a few days or so I'll post the answer.
From the shrine of arts for Mecca's child, I will steal the stone of Venus once belonging to the court of 1107 named for the stars that tread on red within the body of ilex in the beautiful country exactly when the lord's day starts.
~Kaitou KID
Can anyone solve this? Might be a bit vague...
