Pokemon Trainer Kaito KurobaAnd here's Kaito! He took a while and I ended up redoing him altogether before getting this version. Well, you know the drill. In a couple of days I'll post the final picture of Kaito with his Pokemon, background and trainer. Look forward to it! ^_^

He reminds me of Gary :-F Such a cocky looking kid... lol
I wonder if you can use that blue in his shoes somewhere else, like maybe some trim on his pants pockets? And/or maybe some black from his top?

This looks really good! Kaito's so cute! The only part I'm iffy about is the shoes. I feel like they should match the shirt. Other than that, I really like his outfit. You did a great job! I look forward to seeing the final draft.

Crimson Amarone and Mikauzoran pointed out to me that Kaito's shoes kinda stood out in the original version because of the bright blue, so instead of changing it to the darker blue that's in his undershirt like some have suggested both here and on DeviantArt, I brought the lighter blue up into the white top shirt. The reason I wanted to keep the light blue is because I wanted some of the Kaitou Kid's colors in this, and that's where the white, light blue and pink-red colors were pulled from. The darker blue in the undershirt was actually pulled from Kaito's school uniform. Even though this picture only has small additions to it, I hope everyone's happy with them. I know I am. ^_^

The most important thing is that you're happy with it, and like I said before, it looks fantastic. I really think you did an awesome job with this. I like your reasoning for bringing in the light blue, but I still don't like the way that it looks with the black. They just aren't two colors that I would put in the same outfit because, in my personal and subjective opinion, they just don't look right together. But, again that's my own aesthetics. I think the black and the red are a better color combination, but I can understand way you chose to do it the way you did, and I think the idea behind it is cool. Again, great job! This makes me really nostalgic for Pokemon. It's been forever! (Well, only since Twitch played Pokemon Red, but...you know. The good old days.)
