I kind of want to see if I can whip out an AmuAzu entry. I have an idea. I mean, I KNOW that I can. I can have 1,000 words done in an hour or so, but...it's finding the motivation.
I'm working on a (self-loathing, half-demon, waiting-for-marriage) incubus!Kaito fic right now, and it's kind of taking over all of my inspiration. I'm not getting much else done, and I just kind of want to finish if, so I don't know if I'll get an entry done or not. I'm pretty sure we already have enough entries, so I'm not going to stress too much.

So... In contrast to what I originally thought, I'm probably gonna sit this one out (and probably also the other existing comps) and save what I already started for later. I'm in the foulest of moods right now and it's not helping one bit. It's a really fun prompt and I've started writing, but I hate doing things when my mind's just not in it, and I'm afraid if I force myself to finish it could mean the death of fun creative writing, so no, I'd rather not risk that. (It's supposed to be a fun-filled procrastination session again but... *sigh* Nope. I'm sorry ) Good luck to everyone participating! (tomorrow's November 2, my mom's supposed 52nd birthday. My nerves are twitchy, my brain stinks--I can tell--and I'm nowhere near "hello happy plunnie, come to me!" phase right now. Rest assured, though, I'm going to read each one and participate during voting)

It's okay, Quincy. Just do what you need to do, and let us know if you need anything, okay?

Hey guys! Today I had a realization: today in the US is daylight savings time which means we move our clocks back an hour; however, the Cafe clock doesn't seem to observe the same rule, so for those of you who have it in your heads that "midnight corresponds to this time in my timezone", this is going to affect what time entries are due. For today only I will start voting an hour late so that everyone is able to get their entries in, but in the future, please familiarize yourself with the new time. Thanks for your patience and understanding! Especially those of you not residing in a country that arbitrarily decides to mess with what time it is twice a year.

Hey, Kaggami? The word limit is actually "500-1,000 words only (with 100 word margin to "wrap it up")." That means that the most words allowed for these Super Short Contests is 1100 words. Please remove 98 words by tomorrow so that you're not disqualified. I'll come back and recheck tomorrow as soon as I get home from work (a little after midnight on the Cafe clock). Thanks!

Hey, everyone.
Kaggami got back to me and has decided not to change her entry to be within the word limit, so she is withdrawing from the competition.
I'll get back with you as to whether we're going to restart the voting since it's impossible to edit an existing poll.

Okay everyone. I've restarted the poll. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience guys, but could the other five of you that had already cast your votes please recast them? Thank you!

The g in my name is currently throwing a minor rebellion over it being ignored (dw about it - just link all the entries in the OP maybe?)

Thank you so much to the five people that voted for me. I am so, so glad that you enjoyed it! Seriously, I've been feeling like a lousy writer recently, so it means a lot to me that you guys voted for my work. Maybe I won't give up writing after all. ^.^;
