The basic idea here is that every two weeks, around when the board's clock says it's early Monday, I'll give a character or a group of characters to choose from for pretty much anything you want. The Guidelines:
- You do not need to use all the characters in a group--picking and choosing is perfectly fine!
- The bonus themes (from a hat) are randomly chosen just to help you if you're stuck--they're completely optional.
- Do the character(s) be the main ones in the story.
- For now, no minimum or maximum length is being given; the story just needs to be stand-alone.
This first week's prompt is: The Detective Boys. (You can focus on them as a group, or on individual members.) The bonus themes pulled from the hat are: - first aid
- homicide
- passing notes
Suggestions are always taken into consideration as to whom to prompt next--preference is given to groups, though, so people have some choices!

At first I thought, "Oh my gosh! She's doing this twice a week?!" but you meant more of the semimonthly definition of biweekly instead of the semiweekly meaning of biweekly. ^.^;
Well, I think it looks great so far! I hope that this inspires people. The only thing I would change would be that instead of "rules", I would use "guidelines". I know it's just syntax, but since this isn't a contest where rules have to be strictly adhered to in order to establish a fair, orderly competition, I would use "guidelines". Really the purpose of this is to get people writing, so there need not be any "rules". This is just to encourage creativity, not to be judged.
Other than that, it looks good. Good job!

Honestly I'm used to the semimonthly definition, because I'm used to 'bi{TIME}ly' meaning 'every other {TIME}' and 'twice {TIME}ly' for 'twice a {TIME}.' There's a lot of reasons for that sort of convention, including little need to think hard about which one it's supposed to be this time.
I'm hoping people will participate, and have a few ideas--maybe something Ai-centric...

Sorry for it being so late, and my entry for last week's prompt is unfinished--I've been working my way through the last release from DCTP, and hurriedly getting my graduation cleared and myself set up for my next degree. (The latter was annoyingly time-consuming but I've got everything for that one done.)
Next prompt: High School Detectives (Including the shrunken one, and yes, this includes Sera.)
I'm not providing bonus words this time, if you need them just borrow from last time.

Awww, that's what I was gonna do . . . But so long as we have different ideas, I think we'll be fine. I was gonna have the British detective and phantom thief at the beginning. Kaito's actually the one who'll start it all.

EEee okay! I'll step out until you post yours just to be safe though-- then and wait to see if it's different enough / come up with a new one <3 Unless you're okay with me doing it anyway haha I had a rough idea of using anonymous notes between two people; not actually passing notes, per se, but close enough.

Oh no, you're completely fine. You can even start now, if you'd like XD Mine is actually passing notes during class between all the high school detectives plus Kaito, so . . . Probably different enough.

(Hi! long time no see!)
High School Detectives? And plus Sera? This seems so fun! The first that came to my mind.... is an "end to BO" scenario, in which all HS detecives get an anesthetic dart watch for safety from Agasa-hakase (Hakuba gets a pocket watch, obviously)

(Hi Shihominn!)
It looks like late Wednesday/early Thursday is going to be best for me--this week started out busy for me, so...
This round's prompt: The parents
I'll add a set of words as additional/bonus if anybody asks, right now I want sleep after a busy day with dentists and mechanics...

Sorry about the skipped week--honestly, I thought it'd posted but I've been busy with baby mice. (No pictures yet, Kaitou hasn't been cooperative about leaving her nest.)
This round's prompt: The members of Division One the Tokyo Metropolitan Police District
This would be Inspector Megure and his various direct underlings.
(Are the words something people want? Or are they not that helpful?)

This seems interesting... If I did do this, where would I post it? Also, is this like the competitions and are judged as such or is it just prompts?

These are just prompts, so you can post just in the library and on ff.net. Wherever you want, really.
