Yeah, I've heard of that too. I believe it completely diverts from the manga's storyline too.
I watched a couple episodes of One Piece a few years ago when we were hosting my now-graduated Chinese international brothers, but I never got into it.

yeah, the rurouken anime twisted away from the manga plotline, and created some new arcs after the first main plot that pretty much made little to no sense. on the other hand, the manga goes into some nice, serious stuff that likes to rip your heart out and tear it to shreds. and then put it back together with fluff.
Oh, I've been meaning to start one piece for a while, never got around to actually doing it, though. I do remember one really good OP/DC crossover fic from a while back... which was probablt most of the reason why I want to watch it XD

Spring season started. Even if I added plenty of new series to my Animelist, I watch only Ore Monogatary and JewelPet Magical Charge. Maybe I'll start with something diffrent soon yet.
Do anyone from here watching Ore Monogatary? It's absolute adorable, cute awesome...! ^.^ Ah, I can't wait for next episodes. Today I started to read manga too and it's better and better! ^.~

It's nice to know a lot of people enjoying anime. A lots of nakama for me. Currently I rewatch the junjou romantica. The story is kind of ridiculous but sweet. The first anime that makes me a fangirl is mobile suit gundam seed. Has anyone watch it.? The friendship with a hint of yaoi there and the conflict they experienced

Yay Junjou I'm reading Yokozawa Takafumi no baai and rewatching Sekaiichi Hatsukoi right now. I alway did enjoy that one more than Junjou tho (maybe because it's easier to find since Sekai is on crunchyroll) Ooo we have Rurouni Kenshin fans here too? Hooray! I own two of the really big 3-in-one volumes of Kenshin. I read it a long time ago. Ahh nostalgia. (I should finish Noragami, watched two episodes)

I liked Sekaiichi more too, I don't why.. maybe because Onodera being in so much denial throughout all of the series was super hilarious.. xD did anyone watch Hybrid Child? It's also by the same mangaka.
and I watched Project K a bit, but didn't follow till the end.. :3

Hmm...I like the personalities and pairings a bit more in Sekaiichi. The publishing/editing type of setting was more interesting to me. (Also, I'm very bias for Yokozawa right now uwu)
Hybrid Child, you say? *Searchs up* Oh? It looks interesting! Maybe I'll watch it when I have time.

hmm Hybrid Child is about humanoid...dolls...? robots?? that people can buy and raise (they also grow older like humans, but it's still kind of different) I liked the first OVA but not really the second.. ^^;; and yes K Project had really beautiful art!
I really liked the Yokozawa ova or movie that came out last year.. :'D I didn't know there were novels.. are they translated?

Whoops, didn't see this until now. And yup the movie was what got me into that pairing. Yokozawa's story is mainly light novel (The movie is an adpatation of the first volume) and yes they are translated! There are six so far, I think. A scanlation group has five completely translated and six in progress. (Trust me, they are much more fun/detailed/dramatic)

Ohhh, Im so lost in the newer anime, besides MK1412... All summer I rewatched with my brother Fullmetal ALchemist Brotherhood, and Escaflowne. And now Im watching Haikyuu!! and Arslan Senki. (And Im waiting for my brother to come home to watch at last the 3th Ruroni Kenshin live action movie)
AND Im waching in tv the new latinamerican dub of DC, and is really AMAZING!! You cannot believe the feeling of listening at last "Conan Edogawa" instead of "Conan Blassy" (16 years is a long time to wait and hear a decent dub)
And manga... besides DCMK, only reading Otoyomegatari, by Kaoru Mori.

Hm, I guess Kid Icarus: Uprising doesn't count here since it's a game, though there are some anime shorts that I have yet to watch . . .

As for me, right now I'm rewatching Ranma 1/2 and looooving every minute of it... Also waiting for the newest KuroBasu season to be completed... and the latest Sailor Moon Crystal episodes to come Wait, Sekaiichi... if my memory serves me correct... this is that two episode OVA right? With the childhood friends? And one of them is a son of a yakuza? That's it right? Or is this the novelist thing? OMG why is my memory so distorted?! O.o

Close Quincy xD I believe you're thinking about Junjou? (They're from the same authors so..) Sekaiichi is the one about the publishing company/editing department. It's 25 episodes long.
