Yeah, you have to wonder how Kid's gonna be involved... Although somehow I feel like I'd much rather be in Kid's team or something XD (Kid fan over here )

Well, not all of the clues to the crossword puzzle challenge are in Japanese. There are three that are pictures, and you have to decipher what they mean. I wish there was someone that could just give me a different perspective on them since I've kind of exhausted all of my points of view and expertise.

I believe so. The ones that have no Japanese in them. Just the pictures and numbers and alphabet letters.

What was the answer to number one? I'm probably thinking about this too hard, trying to make it too elaborate. All I know is that the third syllable has to be _ _ こ _ in order to fit the overall puzzle.

By the way, Mikau-chan, do you have any idea what #6 is supposed to be? or how to find the answer for it?

*Blinks* I still don't get it. Are you telling me it's supposed to be a face? Because that was the first thing I thought when I looked at it, but I thought what's up with the numbers? Explain it to me please. Is the answer ニッコリ? Even so, explain what's up with the numbers.
Like I said, I only figured out the answers to the easiest ones, number two and five, and then from there I figured out the overall riddle that we're supposed to find out the answer to once we solve the other clues, but I don't know about the other ones.
All I can tell you that the answer to number one is _ _ こ _. Three is _ ん. Four is _ め _. Six is ね _.

{You can do this! Heiji believes in you! ^o^v} The first hint can be both applied to #1 and #4 (alphabet). As to whether I'm referring to kana or English alphabet I think it'll be more fun if you figure it out yourself (trust me, you might get into a laughing fit if you realize what the trick is xD). For #1 I suggest you look at the number of boxes (or the number of rows and columns), and the numbers on four of the boxes tell us which of these items go into the puzzle. The shaded boxes give the most crucial clue as to what the trick is. Oh, right, and the Japanese read from right to left (remind me again when this condition applies? *nudge-nudge*)... For #3, I can only guess it has something to do with an onomatopoeic expression (still not sure, though but natsu-chan and dogfish-chan also thought that might be it)... pulled that off from the hints, though (I thought the keywords for this one are "hairu", "oto", "mimi", "kuchi", "me" and "o", and might have something to do with the senses) As for #4, I must admit it took me a while to solve it, but it's really quite simple *cues laughing at thyself*. I got this one by taking note that the Japanese might not be able to solve this one if it's more difficult than it actually is/than it appears to be. Once again, the clue for this one is alphabet *hums alphabet song*... oh, and vertical... Still stuck at #6 but my silly other self tried that trick they did at the Kaga Hyakumangoku episode where Conan combined two pictures to form one, but then again there's no "+" sign anywhere so I might be wrong... *hides under a rock* I can only assume numbers "43" and "4" are of different colors because they form two kana's that would lead to the answer (still it can be anything right? XD) Ganbare!~ Fight-o... Oh! Oh, also, if it wasn't for you telling us the answer is "コナンのめがね" we wouldn't get anywhere so thank you *90-degree bow*!~

Well, if Heiji believes in me, I suppose I must try, try again. *Sigh* -.- Tomorrow, anyway. Thanks, Quincy!
And no problem. Once I got the two clues and started looking at the final riddle, it seemed rather obvious to me. Glad I could help some!

{Spoiler: Click to view/hide} Wow. Number four really was "カメラ". My brother and I were looking at this the other day, and I knew that the middle syllable had to be め, so my brother asked me, "Well, what three syllable words do you know with め in the middle?" My response was "らめん and かめら off the top of my head". I just couldn't make sense of the riddle to come up with an answer. Wow. That was deceptively easy. Thanks!

{Spoiler: Click to view/hide} Hits self in head for number one. It's リモコン, isn't it? What's up with all of the katakana words? Wow (yet again). I was trying to make this so much harder than it actually was. Only when I flipped my computer on its side did I realize that it was a syllable chart. It's been a loooong time since I've seen one of those. I'm surprised I still remembered where everything was. Thanks again for the hints!
